Local bands in each city invited to supportWith their upcoming single ‘Don’t Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)’ soundtracking the new Mazda 2 TV ad and a potential tidal wave of critical drool gathering on the horizon, Noisettes seem poised to make an even bigger splash than with their 2007 debut What’s The Time Mr Wolf?. Following their spectacular showcase gig in December, Shingai Shoniwa and the boys are heading back on the road for a six-date UK tour just ahead of the release of their second album Wild Young Hearts on March 30th via Mercury Records. Posting in their Myspace blog last week, the trio sent out a call for bands in Brighton, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow to put themselves forward for a potential support slot on their home turf.
Out on March 23rd, ’Don’t Upset The Rhythm’ is the second single to be taken from the album. The brilliant title track had a limited edition white label release earlier this month. Video and tourdates below. Tickets on sale now from various vendors.
