She & Him team up with Tilly & The Wall for new single

Zooey Deschanel and M Ward have announced a release date and tracklist for the forthcoming She & Him album, Volume Two, described by Zooey as a “feelgood” record. What we previously thought would be a fully self-penned set will actually feature two covers – of ’60s rock band NRBQ’s ‘Ridin’ In My Car’ and of the Skeeter Davis number ‘Gonna Get Along Without You Now’.

First single ‘In The Sun’ will feature guest vocals from Tilly & The Wall, while album closer ‘If You Can’t Sleep’ is fully a cappella.

Volume Two is released through Double Six on April 5
