Our Free Music Fridays are always pretty popular, and a great way to discover new music as well as pick up some brilliant remixes and live recordings. Taking a look back over 2009, we thought it would be interesting to see which songs had been the most popular, and there are definitely some surprising inclusions among the 30 most snaffled MP3s. BBC Sound Of 2010 nominee Ellie Goulding proved she had massive appeal by making two appearances in the top 10, while our premieres of brand new material from Danielle Spencer, Fern Knight and Kelli Ali were the three biggest hitters. Full list and links below.

Great list – nice to see Tori Amos still being thought about – very under-rated in my opinion.
will also give Kelli Ali a listen for obvious reasons!
