charlotte gainsbourg announces first ever UK shows

In just one little press release, Charlotte Gainsbourg has announced both a new single and her first ever UK live appearances. Yep, despite being born in London, Paris-raised Gainsbourg has yet to grace our shores with an in-person performance, so expect tickets to go like hotcakes. First up is a headline show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on June 22, with an appearance at this year’s Latitude Festival lined up the following month. Tickets for the London show can be found here.

The single news? ‘Time Of The Assassins’, taken from her cerebral haemorrhage-inspired third album IRM, will be available on 12″ vinyl and download from May 10.
