Emika
‘Double Edge’

We fell for Emika’s debut single ‘Drop The Other’ in a big way earlier this year, so it’s with full and happy hearts that we’re listening to the upcoming ‘Double Edge’, out May 10 through Ninja Tune. Released as a three-track set on 12″ vinyl and download, the album cut is accompanied by a radio edit and a remix from Tectonic label head Pinch. Anyone with an interest in thoughtful, brooding dubstep should definitely be keeping an eye on this Berlin-based talent.

Also check out promo that accompanies the Pinch remix on Myspace. The video features footage of some of the places where sounds for the new EP were recorded, including Der Teufelsberg (Devil’s Mountain) in Berlin.
