Savoir Adore
‘The Cave Of Good Secrets’

By the power of the internet, Savoir Adore’s 2007 EP became a word-of-mouth sensation, and though their debut LP In The Wooded Forest was a US-only release last year, we were glad to discover this distinctly special Brooklyn duo. As previously reported, the album is getting a belated UK release this August through Cantora Records, the Big Apple-based label who helped to launch MGMT, Violens and Bear Hands.

Second single ‘We Talk Like Machines’ (out July 26) should go down a treat, and to help things along the band are kindly offering non-album track ‘The Cave Of Good Secrets’ as a freebie download. It’s a pretty funky joint, with jazzy vocals overlaid across a psychedelic ’60s beat to which you’ll be twisting in no time. The single’s two other B-sides are remixes of ‘We Talk Like Machines’ by Yes Giantess and Emil & Friends.
