School Of Seven Bells announce new single

School Of Seven Bells have announced that ‘Heart Is Strange’ will be the second single from their recent second album Disconnect From Desire [review], though a release date has apparently yet to be set. The four-track single will include remixes by Pantha du Prince (‘Heart Is Strange’), Phantogram (‘I L U’) and White Sea (‘Dust Devil’), a new project from M83′s Morgan Kibby.

According to theaudioperv.com, guitarist Benjamin Curtis had particular praise for the White Sea remix, calling it a “real stunner [...] I really can’t believe what a great job she did with this song, and I can’t wait to hear where she goes from here.”

Also of note is that the ‘Heart Is Strange’ single version is actually an edit of the album track, cut down after the album was completed. Such things have a chequered past but no need to worry; as Ben himself says, “probably for the first time in rock and roll history, I have to admit that I prefer the edit.”

Tracklist:
01 Heart Is Strange [edit]
02 Heart Is Strange [Pantha Du Prince mix]
03 I L U [Phantogram mix]
04 Dust Devil [White Sea mix]
