DIARY | Jean Grae returns to London

September 17, 2010 by Charlotte Richardson Andrews in Blog

We’ve been waiting a crazy long time for Jean Grae’s upcoming LP, the enticingly named Cake Or Death, and now it seems we’ll get to hear a taster of things to come when the quick-witted MC hits the fair city of London this month. Supporting her friend and colleague Pharoahe Monch, who is promoting his new album W.A.R (We Are Renegades), she’s all set for what looks to be a super show at the Jazz Café on September 27.

Cake Or Death is expected to drop – and by expected we mean we’ll be taking hostages if it doesn’t – later this year via Talib Kweli’s label Blacksmith.

Tickets for the gig are on sale through Ticketmaster for £17.50.
