The competition this year was fierce but we think we’ve hit upon a top fifty that genuinely reflects the best that 2010 had to offer in terms of women in music. As always, some painful sacrifices had to be made so, because we’re a bit soft, here’s a nod in the direction of some of our favourite exclusions.
