free music friday: 6 day riot

The idea for Tamara Schlesinger and co. to cover The Pretenders’ ’2000 Miles’ originally came up while the band were recording a session for John Kennedy’s XFM show. Says Tamara of the decision to then go back to do it properly, “The reaction was great and so the band decided to record it and release it as a free download to thank their fans for the support they have received this year.” Good job, fans. This is lovely.
