Wears The Trousers invited to help judge Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition

For the third year running, Glastonbury organisers are offering bands the opportunity to launch themselves onto the Main Stage at this year’s festival, which takes place from June 22 to June 26 at Worthy Farm. Wears The Trousers has been invited, along with thirty-nine other UK music websites and bloggers, to take part in the first stage of judging the competition. Entry is free, but you only have one week in which to register your interest, starting now. Click the image below to access the entry form.

We’ll be picking our three favourite acts from the initial entrants and recommending them to the festival organisers, who will then compile a shortlist of ten. These ten will then be invited to a live finals to be held at Pilton Working Men’s Club in April 2011, where the overall winner will be decided. Good luck!
