VIDEO | Lil’ Kim — ‘Black Friday’

March 10, 2011 by Charlotte Richardson Andrews in Blog

Lil’ Kim
‘Black Friday’

Lil’ Kim can’t seem to make up her mind about whether the one-sided feud she’s been pursuing with Nicki Minaj is real “beef” or just an astute way to “play the game” and generate hype. Either way, she claims she managed to shift 113,000 copies of her new Black Friday mixtape within 28 hours of it going on sale. That claim was neatly debunked here, and it certainly doesn’t look like many of those alleged proceeds went into making this video for the Minaj-dissing title track. Predictably, the ropey-looking clip features a number of Minaj lookalikes and is fuelled by venomous, violent lyrics.
