First Aid Kit working on new album with Bright Eyes producer

Swedish sister duo First Aid Kit have revealed that they are hard at work on the follow-up to their brilliant 2010 debut, The Big Black & The Blue, with producer Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes. Writing on their official website from the Saddle Creek heartland of Omaha, Nebraska, the Söderberg sisters had the following to say:

“We met Mr. Mogis at Austin City Limits last year. He saw our show there and we got talking about recording an album together. Bright Eyes was the band that got us inspired to start making music, so working with Mike is quite surreal for us. We feel honoured to say the least. So far things are going great and we believe we’re in the process of creating something very special. This truly is a dream come true for us. We can’t wait to share the new songs with you guys!”
