I don’t know. You wait six years for a new Kate Bush album – and feel grateful that it was only that long – and then TWO come along. While we know better to get too excited about it right now, it seems that Kate Bush is planning to release an album of all-new material in November.
Chair of EMI Australia, Mark Poston, told gay and lesbian news source Star Observer: “Of course, you can never be sure with Kate Bush. She does things at her own pace. But we’ve been told to prepare for a November release.”
Speaking to BBC Radio 4′s Front Row in May, following the release of Director’s Cut [review], Kate claimed that she had done “most of the writing” for a new album, so there’s a good chance he’s right.
Poston also revealed that a Goldfrapp best-of album will be in shops before this Christmas.
