DIARY | Feminist rock pioneers Ut announce first UK tour in 20 years

August 8, 2011 by Odhran ODonoghue in Blog

Feminist rock pioneers Ut are set to return to the stage this September for their first shows on British soil since they disbanded in 1990, excepting a brief, unannounced support slot at the now-defunct Luminaire in July last year.

Famously namechecked in Le Tigre’s roll call of feminist legends, ‘Hot Topic’, Ut had a reputation back in the day for intense and uncompromising live performances so these shows are really not to be missed. And, let’s face it, who knows if we’ll ever get the chance to see them again?

Dates follow below:

23.09.11 The Lexington, London
24.09.11 The Croft, Bristol
25.09.11 The Prince Albert, Brighton
26.09.11 The Pavilion, Cork
27.09.11 Soup Kitchen, Manchester
28.09.11 Stereo, Glasgow
