Here’s another freebie from former Mika Miko rockers Jennifer and Jessica Clavin. The track is the B-side to their Carter 7″, which was released in July via Art Fag Recordings in an edition of five hundred copies and has since sold out (though a message on their Tumblr promises a second pressing to follow some time soon). There’s just a touch of The Ramones’ ‘Don’t Come Close’ in the catchy hook, which is never a bad thing, and the plodding chords are reassuringly solid.

In a nice coincidence, the folks at Daytrotter today posted a recently unearthed session with Mika Miko, recorded in 2009 on the band’s final tour together. Stream/download it here.
