Swedish starlet Lykke Li has shared a new session video of sorts, featuring a brilliantly pared-back take on Wounded Rhymes cut, ‘Jerome’. The clip, shot in a plain black room, showcases a stripped-back, xylophone-heavy version of the track complete with moody shots of Lykke and her bandmates, who include Wildbirds & Peacedrums’ Mariam Wallentin.
Speaking of the video, Lykke says “This was all a part of making the album. Days and nights spent hammering away in the dark, standing in circles, allowing the room and each person to be heard. Looking for clues that would lead you on the path which would then turn into some kind of final cut, if there ever is one. A lot of the time we got lost along the way, in a good way.”
