Puro Instinct announce new single

August 16, 2011 by Alan Pedder in Blog

Puro Instinct will release the slinky ‘Slivers Of You’ as the first official UK single from their debut album, Headbangers In Ecstasy, which gets a long overdue release here on September 12. Out September 26, the lead track is paired with a woozy cover of ‘I’ve Got Some Happiness’, originally by Japanese–American psych-rock guitarist Leland and released in 1976 on his debut album, This Is My World.

Long-time Puro Instinct fans will know the song from the last summer’s release of their self-titled EP, the sisters’ first release after changing their name from Pearl Harbor. Pitchfork seem to still be offering the MP3, so if you don’t already have it, download away.
