DIARY | Eleanor Friedberger announces intimate London solo gig

September 7, 2011 by Alan Pedder in Blog

We’re used to seeing Eleanor Friedberger performing tongue-twisting vocal gymnastics on stage with brother Matthew as The Fiery Furnaces, but when she steps out without him at London’s Platform Bar on September 29 she’ll be treating us to the more mellow stylings of her debut solo album Last Summer [review]. It’s going to be brilliant, and at just £8.50 (+ booking fee) per ticket it’s an absolute steal. See you there?
