‘Are You Ready?’

Fatty Gets A Stylist is the pop duo side project of Kate Miller-Heidke and her husband Keir Nuttall, and ‘Are You Ready?’ is the lead single from their self-titled debut album, released in their native Australia back in June. The rest of the world, sadly, doesn’t seem to have taken a shine to the band name, and it’s being released elsewhere as a new album from Kate titled Liberty Bell.

“‘Are You Ready?’ is a very simple, repetitive, joyous pop song,” Kate told Spinner recently. “For the video, we tried to make it look like the credits of an ’80s kids’ TV show. However, there are some sinister undertones with crop circles and children who shoot laser beams from their eyes.”

Liberty Bell is released digitally in the UK on October 10.
