Lia Ices wants to see your romantic side with new video contest

Lia Ices already has a video for the swoonsome ‘Love Is Won’ from her second album Grown Unknown. She shot it on a romantic trip to Rome with her boyfriend, armed with a Super 8 camera, and now she’s inviting fans to see if they can do any better by bringing their own love story to life in front of the lens.

Her label Jagjaguwar will be hosting all entries submitted by noon on November 15 on their website, and the winning video will premiere on the IFC website shortly after the November 21 judging date, when Lia and the people at IFC will sit down together and pick their favourites.

All videos must feature ‘Love Is Won’ as the soundtrack (download it here), but they do not need to run the full five minute-plus duration of the song.

Email your completed video to press@jagjaguwar.com, though probably not as an in-mail attachment unless you want their entire system to grind to a halt, and cross your fingers.
