VIDEO | My Brightest Diamond — ‘We Added It Up’

October 19, 2011 by Alan Pedder in Blog

My Brightest Diamond
‘We Added It Up’

‘We Added It Up’ is the addictive opening track from My Brightest Diamond’s third album All Things Will Unwind [review], out this week on Asthmatic Kitty Records. In this new video, directed by Murat Eyuboglu and choreographed by Jennifer McQuiston Lott, Shara Worden’s lyrics about opposites and oddities translate into a compelling dance between Amy Miller and the improbably named Bennyroyce Royon.

In other MBD news, do not miss the recently posted videos of her first ever Take Away Show for La Blogotheque. Watch ‘Escape Routes‘ and ‘A Paper, A Pen, A Note To A Friend’ (written and arranged by Shara from yMusic’s debut album Beautiful Mechanical), filmed in New York’s Battery Park over the summer. Also, as a bonus, here’s the heartbreaking ’I Have Never Loved Someone‘, filmed in Berlin.
