VIDEO | Sunday Girl — ‘Love U More’ (Sunscreem cover)

Sunday Girl
‘Love U More’

Having missed out on last year’s shortlist, Jade Williams (aka Sunday Girl) is giving it her best shot for a spot on the BBC’s Sound of 2012 countdown with the release of her latest single ‘Love U More’ on December 4 as a primer for her debut album due early next year. Already co-writing with Kylie Minogue and designing a clothing range for Firetrap that’s found its way into Rihanna’s wardrobe, it seems that her future as a household pop name is assured. Perhaps the only thing standing in her way is her tendency to rely on covers: ‘Love U More’ was originally recorded by Sunscreem in 1992 and later by Steps (using slightly less controversial lyrics, which Williams repeats here).
