Al Spx has come a long way in a short time, snagging herself a much-coveted appearance on ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ off the back of her gorgeous “doom-soul” debut single ‘Holland’ (no relation). Standing in a lone spotlight, she delivered a stirring a cappella rendition of the single’s B-side, ‘Old Stepstone’. It seems that ParadYse Records still have some copies of the 7″ left, but we’re sure that stocks won’t last much longer so dig in if you like what you hear.
