DIARY | Chelsea Wolfe to make her UK live debut in April

January 25, 2012 by Charlotte Richardson Andrews in Blog

Chelsea Wolfe made quite an impression on us last year, with her mesmerising second album Ἀποκάλυψις (pronounced ‘apokalypsis’), so we’re pretty stoked to hear that the LA-based artist has announced details of her first ever UK tour to take place in April. She’ll be opening for sister duo 2:54 for a handful of shows, mixed in with a few headline gigs of her own.

Expect to hear songs from her upcoming third album, Chelsea Wolfe, which she professes to be “really, really excited about”. Writing on Twitter earlier this week, Wolfe added: “‘Excited’ isn’t even the right word. I’ve never put so much of myself into something before. Maybe I will die after I record this new album. Like a salmon after spawn. Bury me in ’90s Margiela.”

In the mean time, scroll to the bottom to watch a special performance of Ἀποκάλυψις track ‘Movie Screen’, recorded for Room 205 earlier this month with “Michael Reich, wizard/editor Forrest Borie, and white witch/set designer Tamarra Younis.”
