We’re finding it pretty dang hard to keep up with the comings and goings of Grouper’s Liz Harris. In addition to the myriad of releases and side projects we’ve reported over the past few months, the experimental musician has just announced a collaboration with Jesy Fortino of Tiny Vipers. Under the moniker of Mirroring, the pair have recorded an album called Foreign Body that drops on March 19 via Kranky (tracklist below).

Tracklist:
01 Fell Sound
02 Silent From Above
03 Cliffs
04 Drowning the Call
05 Mine
06 Mirror of Our Sleeping
In other Grouper news, Harris has scored a film called ‘The Perception Of Moving Targets’ by Weston Currie, which is due to be screened at the Sundance Film Festival. The soundtrack features songs from last year’s brilliant double LP A I A and 2008′s Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill, as well as some brand new material. Some of the film has already seen the light as the official video for the A I A track ‘I Saw A Ray’. Peep the trailer at the bottom of the page if you so wish.
Finally (for now), this week Harris lifted the lid on a brand new cover of the Dead Moon track ‘Demona’, dissonant and fraught, and taken from an exclusive 7″ that comes with this month’s Yeti magazine. Download the jam below.
