Help Diane Cluck fund two new albums

January 10, 2012 by Alan Pedder in Blog

Diane Cluck was the first person ever interviewed for Wears The Trousers, way back in the summer of 2005, and we’ve got another one on the way very soon (i.e. tomorrow). We recently spoke to Diane about her new Song-of-the-Week project, in which, in her own words, is “a project in which I’ll be writing, recording and sending out twenty-four songs over the course of six months.” That’s one new Diane Cluck song in your inbox every week for half a year! Sounds pretty amazing to us. There will also be videos, drawings, recipes and other extras exclusive to backers.

Subscriptions start from just $10, which gives you one month’s worth of freebies. To subscribe for the whole six months costs a minimum of $50, which is just over £1 per song. People subscribing for $75 or more will receive a package containing two twelve-track CDs (with lyrics and artwork signed by Diane) at the end of the project, as well as their weekly email. Higher-tier subscriptions are also on offer. Find out more on Diane’s official website.

The project is currently 45% funded, with three more weeks to go. If the amount required isn’t raised by the end of January, well, we will be among the many disappointed. Let’s make sure this happens!
