the kills to release valentine’s day EP?

Although their label has yet to officially confirm it, word on the internet suggests that The Kills are set to release a new EP on Valentine’s Day. The four-track set is said to complement the Blood Pressures track ‘The Last Goodbye’ with three cover versions: ‘Crazy’ by Patsy Cline, ‘Pale Blue Eyes’ by The Velvet Underground and Marilyn Monroe’s ‘One Silver Dollar’.

Stream a version of ‘Pale Blue Eyes’ that Allison and Jamie made for Levi’s below. Whether or not this is the same version that’s on the EP remains to be seen.

In other news, the long-awaited Samantha Morton-directed video for ‘The Last Goodbye’, which celebrates The Kills’ ten-year anniversary, debuted earlier today over on Nowness. Watch it below.
