Out on May 14, ‘Italian Song’ is the third single from Anja McCloskey’s upcoming debut album. An Estimation doesn’t hit the shops until September 3, but the Haunted Stereo member has a summer packed with festivals and a newly announced tour of bookstores to keep her mighty busy ’til the big day arrives. “The song is about going slightly mad in the summer heat and losing rationality along the way,” says Anja. “I wanted the music to reflect that. So it’s unusually upbeat for me with a touch of adrenalin in the choruses. It’s a great song to play live.” Looks like they had a lot of fun making the video too.
