Previously known as simply Ghost, the Atlanta-based duo of Elise Tippins and Matt Weiner preview their just-released debut album Personality Matrix with yet another cut of engagingly peculiar, glitchy synth-pop. Dystopian and tough, ‘Flash’ is as severe and heavy as we’ve heard these two to date.

Intentional or not, a hint of irony slips through the complex, shady subject matter, but Tippins’s clear, commanding vocal makes it plain that she’s not to be messed with.
